The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in January 2014 and have been lucky to have the support of a fantastic fiancé, a great family, friends and colleagues.

I know that not everyone is as fortunate as me and that is where MacMillan come in with their support and guidance. Just to know that they are there if you need them makes the journey easier. They offer guidance and advice to the patient and are there for family and friends, in fact anyone who wants to know more about cancer.

They make it all just a little less scary and are shining angels who are at the forefront of reminding us that it is not a journey any of us have to do alone.
