Fundraising for Dads Rock
Story
Hi!
On Sunday 12th March I am taking part in the Dads Rock Falkirk Wheel Abseil!
On Sunday 12th March I am taking part in the Dads Rock Falkirk Wheel Abseil!
I will be abseiling 100ft off the world’s only rotating boat lift to raise money for Dads Rock, a charity close to my heart. I’m sure knowing I’ll be terrified 100ft up is worthy of a few quid sponsorship!
Dads Rock is a fantastic charity that improves outcomes for children across Scotland by inspiring and supporting dads and families. They run lots of activities with a focus on Dads, who are often excluded from current parenting services. They run free, weekly Dads Groups in Edinburgh and Glasgow and run regular parenting skills workshops for Dads, Mums and carers in person and online. They also provide 1:1 support to vulnerable Young Dads and peer support for new Dads who could use some additional emotional support.
