Every year a group of friends and colleagues cycle vast distances to raise money for this charity. We are raising for Marie Curie, a charity that is close to my heart. In the darkest hours of of my life, they were by our side and looked after my late wife through many nights, to the end. This is probably the toughest job in the world. All Marie Curie nurses do it, every night, every day of the year, compassionately and professionally.
