Pawsitive Steps Challenge

Pawsitive Steps Challenge · 30 July 2022
Throughout August, team members from veterinary practices across Dundee and Angus will be fundraising for Vetlife by undertaking a ‘Pawsitive Steps’ challenge, walking an average of 10k steps a day over the month.
Staff from across Wallace Vets, Parkside, Blackness Vets, Golf Vets, Tay Vets and Abbey Vets are joining together to raise both awareness and funds for VetLife.
Our teams are made up of the most amazing GP’s, surgeons, anaesthetists, radiologists, nurses, carers, helpers and advisors. We’re often heroes in a crisis, as well as a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear.
But despite all the amazing things that we do, we’re all human, and work-related pressures and the way our teams are sometimes spoken to, or about, contribute to our profession being four times more likely to end our own life; twice as likely as doctors and dentists.
Vetlife are an invaluable support to our industry, but each and every one of us can play part in supporting our profession to keep caring for your pets by offering the simplest of things, your kindness.
If you would like to support our team and donate then please do so here! Any donation, big or small, will make the world of difference and is hugely appreciated by all involved!
