Story
Welcome to the Paws4Claws Team, where dogs are leading the way in saving big cats!
Our Livestock Guarding Dog programme has been instrumental in protecting the fragile cheetah population for the last 25 years. These special dogs are our ‘paws on the ground’ partners in conservation, working on farms across Africa to protect livestock and reduce human-wildlife conflict – one of the biggest threats to wild cheetahs.
By supporting our doggy challenge this November, your canine heroes are helping to support ours and we cannot thank you enough.
This fun challenge raises awareness of our amazing conservation dogs and offers new meaning to the daily dog walk. Everyone is welcome to join. Our goal is to collectively walk 7,000kms, representing the remaining 7,000 cheetahs in the wild. All doggy participants will be given a 'Cheetah Guardian' bandana to proudly wear on their walks.
Your support means can keep our 200 active livestock guarding dogs well and healthy. Together, we can save the cheetah – one walk at a time!
We will also be awarding prizes for the best walkies photo, so don’t forget to upload your photos to Facebook and tag @ccfcheetahuk to enter!
