In June 2017 we lost our brave and loving sister Pavan to clear cell sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Sarcoma is one of the hardest cancers to diagnose. People visit their GP more times than those with any other form of cancer before diagnosis.
Unfortunately, there is a lack of research and treatment for Sarcoma. Pavan fought hard for 8 months undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy that we hoped would give us more precious time with her.
Pavan maintained a positive and upbeat attitude despite how symptomatic both the sarcoma and treatment was. Having seen how strong and fearless she was through something so relentless and unforgiving is nothing short of inspiring and we think that should be her legacy. Pavan’s fight has now become our fight against sarcoma.
We would like support Sarcoma UK in collecting the funds necessary to aid research into effective treatments and continue to work with patients, healthcare professionals and researchers to drive awareness, promote early diagnosis and improve patients' lives.
Any donations made to this amazing cause would be highly appreciated!
