Those of you that know me will understand my need to challenge myself fairly regularly, hence my entry into the Wales Ironman 2015 taking place from Tenby on September 13th. This involves a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike plus a marathon - all within 17 hours.

Sadly in January 2014 we lost my Father-in-law Alan Heaven to Cancer. All sponsorship money will go to a local charitable trust - Ty Olwen hospice based at Morriston hospital. For the three weeks Alan was at Ty Olwen the nursing staff, doctors and ancillary staff were so caring and attentive but we all realised continual funding is vital to continue the excellence at the hospice.

As part of the fundraising we will be organising a variety of events to raise money. Further details will be updated regularly on Facebook so keep an eye out!
