We are inspiring the UK to give nature a home

Story

Paul's love of life and nature was clear to all who knew him. A long-time member of the RSPB, his passion for wildlife was well documented in his blog that he kept following his diagnosis in 2009 (https://pw25.wordpress.com/).

We have chosen to remember Paul, our treasured friend/father/husband, in the way that feels truest to him. We are raising money for the RSPB site, Fowlmere, a destination where he enjoyed many a long walk and squashed sandwich with wife, Alison, and daughter, Blonnie.

This money will go towards several projects that keep the site running, from keeping the chalk stream clear for otters and water voles, to hopefully funding a new project that will foster the same appreciation for nature that was so strong in Paul.

Donations made via the JustGiving site will be earmarked for Fowlmere improvements.

Just click on the button to donate via JustGiving.

If you would like to donate to RSPB directly (not via JustGiving), please be sure to mention Paul Walsh by name. RSPB have two direct options available:

Donate via telephone with a credit/debit card 01767 693144 - mentioning Paul Walsh by name. They have a Feather Fund set up in his name so that funds are earmarked for Fowlmere.

Donate via post with a cheque made payable to ‘RSPB’ with a cover note making reference to Paul Walsh's Feather Fund:
