Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I only bought my road bike 18 months ago....but as soon as I'd bought it I knew I wanted to cycle the length of the country. So, I asked 3 other guys (Graham Jordan, John Walker & Matthew Rowton) if they fancied joining me in cycling 100 miles a day for 9 days unsupported (just us, a map, the bikes, and 9 pairs of pants). Incredibly they agreed to join me as it was also a dream of theirs as well...

I thought there was no point in putting myself through pain unless I could help others who were going through pain. My pal Pete told me about a friend of his and a charity called 'Fiona's Fund'...

Please visit the website www.fionasfund.co.uk and you'll see what I mean....one of their main benefactors is P.A.C.T. and I chose this due to the help they give to familes & children during incredibly tough times...

None of the money raised will be used to pay for my journey...all the money will go to P.A.C.T. with the support of Fiona's Fund....So...please dig deep to support me to reach my optimistic target!!

We set off from Land's End on Friday June 11th and hope to reach John 'o' Groats on Saturday June 19th.         Hopefully I will have learned to ride my bike without stabilisers by then!

Cheers....Paul T-J
