We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Last summer me and three pals rode 155 miles on our bikes in a day. This year we're going to up the ante and go for a 200 mile challenge in one day. Our route will take us to King's Lynn and back, setting off at around 5am and returning around 8 or 9pm - hopefully! Depending on the weather we'll go on 22nd or 23rd June 2012. I've chosen Leukaemia and Lymphona Research as my nominated charity as back in early 2010 Tom, the son of our friends Keith and Sharon was diagnosed with a form of this cancer. Tom has undergone intensive treatment since then, and I'm glad to say that life is getting back to normal for both him and his family. Every penny raised for this challenge will go to Leukaemia and Lymphona Research as we'll be supporting ourselves entirely on the day. I've put in £30 for starters.
