There are over 2 million internally displaced people in northern Burkina Faso fleeing the jihadist insurgencies from Mali and Niger, Because of the raids and killings they are leaving their homes, farmlands and livelihoods, finding support in government camps. APT has provided a fresh water well, and is working with a network of churches to offer food-aid, trauma counselling and other support to the neediest of these people. There is much more that is needed.
