Fundraising for Myeloma UK
Paul originally set up this page as we had decided to do a sky dive in aid of Myloma UK. Since then Paul has very sadly died following a donor stem cell transplant. He sincerely thought this would be a cure but he had an incredibly bad reaction and died three months later from GVHD at the young age of 51.
We are walking the Pendle Three Peaks on 22nd June 2019. We set off walking at 8 am and we are walking up Boulsworth, Weets and Pendle then finishing approx 6 pm in The Pendle Inn to raise a glass to Paul. Everyone is welcome to join us for either whole or part of the day.
Also In his memory and to celebrate his love for life 5 of us are taking part in the sky dive which he had hoped to do (or may likely watch me!!! while he laughed at me saying how crazy I was)
We would all love more research to be carried out for Myloma and one day hope a cure will be found which is a lot safer for myloma patients. Or more knowledge of how to treat GVHD.
Currently we are gratefully accepting donations for a sky dive 31st August 2019.
