Story
A few years ago I created my own 'Bucket List' ....10 things to do before I die....
Number One on that list is my 'BIG WALK' .....
1,806Km (1,129 miles) from Lands End to John O'Groats .....
I started on Feb 28 and finished (75 walking days later) on July 3 - visiting 176 pubs along the way and sampling 114 different cask ales.
The finale to this walk was completed on 11 May 2010 - with the completion of the UK's Longest Pub Crawl in a Day! Leaving 'The Turks Head' pub on St Agnes in the Scilly Isles at 7:40am I arrived at 'Springers Bar' at The Baltasound Hotel in Unst, Shetland at 10.42pm on the same day..... :))
