CBRE Alpine Challenge 2022 - Macmillan · 22 May 2022
Before training for this challenge the longest rides I'd ever done were two 50km ones back in 2016. 5 days of 120km rides will be a shock to the system especially in the Alps cycling up the equivalent of Snowdon 10 times!
I'm really looking forward to the challenge and am happy we're raising money for two fantastic causes in Macmillan and the UNICEF Ukraine appeal.
Please donate if you can and thank you for your support.
A combined team of 50 CBRE employees and Clients will depart Lyon on 9th June and undertake a challenging 5 day / 11,138 m climb / 600km ride across the French Alps. The team will arrive in Geneva having tackled many of the famous Tour de France climbs including the iconic (and gruelling) Alpe D’Huez!
The team are funding the ride themselves so every penny you donate, including gift aid, will go to the charity.
CBRE are proud to partner Macmillan Cancer Support. Living with cancer can be devastating at the best of times, but even harder as a result of the recent pandemic. At Macmillan, we talk to people affected by cancer every day and for many, issues with money and mental health such as stress and depression, are their biggest worry. Our partnership focuses on tackling financial hardship and loneliness together, helping Macmillan develop their telephone, online and virtual support services and to help thousands more people with much needed financial and emotional support. The CBRE partnership is going to be more important than ever before, to help Macmillan do whatever it takes to support every single person living with cancer. Cancer is not going anywhere. And neither can Macmillan. Join us in supporting Macmillan, so they can keep providing financial and emotional support to the millions of people that count on them.
