Please sponsor me - I am running my first and probably last marathon ... for Brooke.

Why? Well, its all about the 4s...

It's my 40th year (I know, classic..)

It's 40k (ish)

I want to run it under 4 hours (no pressure)

... and raise £4k (This is where you come in.. you lovely people you)

Please support me and my charity that makes a huge difference to the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules, who don't have a voice, and improves the lives of all the families who rely on them.

Where there is poverty there is poor welfare for humans and even more so for their animals - Brooke is here to alleviate the suffering.

Please give what you can…

£26 - £1 for every mile. This could bring vital support to 6 hard-working
horses, donkeys or mules. From providing access to services like Brooke-trained vets and farriers, to helping owners to understand their horse, donkey or mule better, we’ll do what we can to help six needy animals.

£40 - £1 for every one of my years leading to this crisis. This could help Brooke set up Donkey Care Clubs in schools so that caring for animals becomes second-nature to children, creating a lifetime of love and understanding.

£100 or over - your name goes on my vest as a key sponsor. This could help train a local farrier to trim and balance hooves, reducing lameness and protecting animals from unnecessary pain and enable the farrier to earn and provide for his family. The farrier will also be able to pass on animal welfare advice to local owners, so your kind gift could improve life for a whole community’s animals.
