The big day came yesterday and I'm delilghted to say that Laura & I not only finished our first marathon, we beat our target time and came in at 4 hours 19 minutes and 37 seconds.

The weather was perfect, bright and sunny and not too cold and not too windy. The Brighton crowds were fantastic as were our fellow runners and we actually enjoyed it! What a memorable way for Laura to spend her 47th birthday.

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful and very generous support - you have made the sore legs today all worth it!!
