Event: Manchester Marathon 2021, on 10 October 2021
St Vincent's House supported living apartments are home to people who require additional support to live independently. St Vincent's is in need of a communal space where people can get together to socialise with each other, their families & friends.

Story

I am running the Manchester Marathon in aid of St Vincent's House,  part of Father Hudson's supported living project in Coleshill.  The marathon has been rescheduled from April 20 to October 20 and now it has been moved to 10 October 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

There are ten tenants who live in St Vincent's House and they're all reaping the benefits of independent living within the community.  All the tenants and staff at St Vincent's House have a fantastic working relationship with one another. They find the care, understanding and support they need to live their lives on equal terms and to the full.  Ever since St Vincent's House opened in 2015, tenants, families and staff have always wanted a communal area for socialising.

St Vincent's is in dire need of a communal space where people can get together to socialise with each other, their families and their friends. It would reduce their risk of isolation in their own flats.
