Story
My wife Claire first became unwell with MS whilst on maternity leave, it was a challenging time navigating a shock diagnosis with a new baby. Whilst she has been fortunate to benefit from treatments and therapies thanks to research and support by the MS Society, there is still no cure for this progressive disease and there is a lot about MS that Doctors still don't fully understand.
This September I will be trying to raise funds for MS research by walking 20km around London's iconic landmarks and the capitals finest views. Claire and Ava (age 6) will be walking the shorter route. The Stop MS Appeal is aiming to raise £100 million and although I’m sure I’ll get no where near that target, I would love to raise £1,000.
Too many people affected by MS in the UK have to fight for the treatments, services, care and support they need.
Together we can change that.
