Hastings Half Marathon 2009 · 15 March 2009 ·

We provide holistic care and support to those affected by life-limiting illness

Story

In March 2008, we ran the Hastings Half Marathon for the first time to raise money for St Michaels Hospice, Hastings.

I managed time of 1h 48.04 and Steph just over 2 hours, raising over £1000 in memory of my Mum who was cared for by St Michaels Hospice in Hastings before she died from Cancer on the 2nd of August 2007.

I sadly lost my Dad on the 20th Dec after a 3 month fight with Cancer and he was also cared for at St Michaels in Hastings.

We ran the half marathon again this year which was Sunday 15th of March and i managed a slightly slower time of 1H 51.41 and Steph 2H 23 in aid of a very special and very worthwhile cause and would ask that you give generously as St Michaels offer very special care for those who are terminally ill with Cancer in the Hastings and St Leonards area, and they need every penny they can get to continue offering the comfort and care people need.

Thank you to all who have already sponsored us so far, but we want to reach our £1000 target, so please still keep donating all you can..

Thanks,

Paul & Steph
