During the last year of his life, my stepdad Johnny Bliss became good friends & in his own words "An Inspiration" to Sir bobby Robson himself. His unwaivering & selfless attitude in the face of such adversity mirrored that of Sir Bobby & his fight to help find a cure for this terrible disease. During his last year Johnny helped organise various charity events & helped raise thousands of pounds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. In participating in this event I feel I (and indeed everyone who donates) can help this amazing cause & can use it as a platform to raise money during future events to aid the Foundation.
