ING New York Marathon 2006 · 5 November 2006 ·
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page
At the beginning of this year I made a New Year resolution to run the Race for Life 5K at Edinburgh Holyrood Park. I started training quite reluctantly but to my surprise I enjoyed it and look forward to my longer runs! I had a great experience at my first Race for Life on 4 June and I seem to have caught the running bug
I have since run in another 10K race and have a few 5K and 10K races lined up for the summer. I also am planning to run the Great Scottish Run (Glasgow Half-marathon) in September.
In November, Neal and the girls will be coming to watch me run the New York Marathon. Running the marathon will be the ultimate challenge for me. I hope to have a time of less than 5 hours so I can get my name printed in New York Times
Neal's mum passed away from breast cancer in 1991. I have never met her but would like to raise as much as possible to help Breast Cancer Campaign to ensure that in the future fewer women have to go through this horrible illness.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breast Cancer Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support and please sponsor me now!
