On 1st October I am taking part in the Great North Run Half Marathon on behalf of Metro Radio and Magic 1152's charity Just for Kids.

The run itself is a very special event in the North East annually and the taking part in an event of this size is an unforgettable experience. To be able to raise funds for disadvantaged children at the same time is quite an opportunity not to be missed!

As I am a late entry running for charity I now have to compress a 16 week training plan into 8 weeks!! But with your support and sponsorship I will suffer the pain!!
