Story
Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity that supports anyone concerned about someone else’s alcohol or drug use in Scotland.
The charity does this not only by supporting the families themselves but setting up beacons of light🌟 in community’s in order to aid the individuals in recovery,
looking for help and the chance to feel part of something again. 💞🤗
I sadly lost my dad at a young age to a Drug overdose so I and my family know all to well the devastation and heartache this brings to a family. 💔
I will be doing this walk in my dads memory, as I feel it is important although hard to speak out sometimes to raise awareness. ❤️
This will be the second year that I have taken part in the kiltwalk for Scottish Families Affected by Drugs and Alcohol as I’ve seen first hand the amazing work they do for individuals and families all around Scotland. 🏴🌟
Sadly too many young life’s are still lost to addiction😞 many of us knowing at least one person or family member that this applies to this is why I think now more than ever,
we may not be able to stop the loss of life altogether, but by raising awareness and showing SUPPORT 💞for each other to end stigma and fight against this terrible battle along with charities like Scottish Families Affected by Drugs & Alcohol WE are one step closer to the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel showing people they’re not alone.💞
If this is something close to your heart like mine then please donate no matter how small and support myself and the team to support Scottish Families Affected by Drugs and alcohol to carry on the amazing work they do.💙🏴🌟
