After a glorious April, we welcomed in a breezy, rainy, cooler May!  It was actually perfect temperature for the Women's 10K, so I'm not complaining...  Wonder Woman received several admiring comments from spectators. It was, as always, a great atmosphere in Sefton Park.

Thank you to everyone who supported me and, as you can see, I exceeded my original target!  You have been so generous.  Special thanks to family, friends, colleagues and parishioners who sponsor me each year for different events.  Your money will be greatly appreciated and used well by Breast Cancer Campaign.

I'm asking you to dig deep for Breast Cancer Campaign - think pink!!This year, instead of travelling to China, I'm staying close to home and donning my running shoes for the Liverpool Women's 10K.  If you come to support me in person, I'll be wearing the BCC running vest and a Wonder Woman top!  Hopefully I can use my super-hero powers to leap to the finish line and "fight the force of evil" that is breast cancer...

I will be remembering a wonderful friend - Jill - who was full of fun and girliness but sadly died last December.  She had a smile that would make Wonder Woman proud! 

I'm also celebrating successful treatment of another friend who is living life to the full and volunteering at the Marina Dalglish centre (Aintree Hospital, Liverpool).  You are an inspiration!!

And finally, my fabulous, feisty cousin in Seattle, USA!  She is currently undergoing treatment but remains the life and soul of the party - wine and wigs party anyone???  With you all the way, Colette. xxx
