In May 2011, Lorna Alexander and Pauline Braisby are going to undertake a trek across some of the Great Wall of China to raise money for The Mary Leishman Foundation.

The Mary Leishman Foundation is very close to our hearts, Mary was a close family friend and sadly lost her fight with cancer in 2009.  The foundation was set up with the aim to Encourage Potential and Ease Distress of those most in need. 

Our trek is going to take 5 days and will take us across parts of the wall rarely seen by people of the Western world.  We will be camping for the duration of the trek which means us leaving straighteners and cosmetics at home!
