Story
I'm taking part in the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation's annual fundraising event, it's Time to Tap, in honour of my beautiful friend who lost her battle with lung cancer on Saturday.
Kirsty was young, fit, healthy and never smoked. She wanted to raise awareness that anyone can get lung cancer not just people who smoke. Kirsty's symptoms included breathlessness, cough, back, jaw and joint pain, and generally feeling unwell. Check out the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation for more information.
Kirsty was the most incredible person, beautiful inside and out with a smile that would light up the room. She fought with courage and positivity and was an inspiration to all who new her. She will be missed by so many and will never be forgotten.
Sleep tight my wonderful friend.
