We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

My gran died last December. She had a stroke and I want to do something for the stroke association. I am a Zumba instructor. I teach my own community classes and I also teach for NL leisure. I am in the process of planning a charity Zumbathon in the Lanarkshire area.

This event will comprise of at least 2 hours Zumba and then some social time. Myself and other local instructors will be involved and all proceeds raised on the day will go to the Stroke Association.

Zumba Office in America have given permission for this event to go ahead. The date and place of the event will be updated, hopefully within the next 7 days.

I want to do something positive to remember my gran by and raise money for the charity.

The event will cost £5-6. 26th March,1.30pm for a 2pm start.£6 on the door on the day £5 in advance. Bar will also be open for alcohol if people want a drink afterwards.
