Well I did it in 4.38, which was a bit longer than I hoped however the last 3 miles were very hard but I didn't stop, apart from at the finish! It was a great day, it really does bring out the best in people, the encouragement and support from the crowds on Sunday was unbelievable its hard to conceive that they can still be so enthusiastic hours after the start when I was plodding round. I would like to thank CLICs for giving me the chance to do this and to everyone who has sponsored me, its greatly appreciated. I would also like to especially thank Sara, Mike & Matt for all their support and encouragement over the last 8 months, I couldn't have done it without them. Any last minute donations would be very gratefully received. I think that we might get up to £4,000, which would be brilliant and more than double the amount that I hoped to raise. If this is the first time you have looked at this site I decided to enter the London Marathon after reading an incredibly moving article about a young girl called Jodie Hudson who died recently. If you log onto the Daily Telegraph web site and search for Jodie Hudson you will be able to read the article from the 25 August, you will find that it speaks for its self. I would also like to say thank you to Jodie's family, it must have been an incredibly difficult thing to take part in the Telegraph interview. But I am sure that doing it has helped to raise awareness of the fantastic work that CLICs do. It certainly inspired me and it was great to receive a lovely e-mail from Jodie's Mom, thank you. Have a look at the CLIC web site and find out more about the work that they do.
