I am not really a runner, but have decided to challenge myself to run a Marathon whilst I still can, whilst I have no injuries, and whilst I am still young enough too :) I entered 2 years ago, but had to stop training at 9 miles under Physio advice due to pain in my leg. This year I am up to 17 miles in training...but it doesn't get any easier!

My work will match all donations, up to a total of £200!!

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares and supports children and young adults with a range of complex medical needs. We provide a services for the whole family through their life journey, including:

• Respite care
• Day care
• 24 hour urgent response
• End of life treatment and care
• Hospice at home
• Young adults group
• Sibling support
• Counselling
• Music therapy
• Befriending services

Our 200 children, young people and their families come to us  from across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.

It costs over £3 million a year to provide this vital service to families in the region, and we receive less than 10% statutory funding.  

There is no charge to families for using any of our services.
