Hello everyone,
Since the Mind Sponsorship Pae looks a bit dodgy and most people are familiar with Just Giving, I've set up a page here too. I'd love to get them £200 so please could you sponsor me if you've not already done so.
As I'm sure you're all sick of hearing, I'm going to be running the Manchester 10k in May. As it's not really the sort of thing I'm sure any of you would have seen me doing even 4 months ago (I know I wouldn't have even thought of myself doing it back then). I therefore think you should sponsor me big bucks to show how impressed you are. As I love the issue of Mental Health I'll be running for Mind. There's some information about them below.
Thank you for any contribution you choose to make.
Paul

Mind works for better mental health for everyone. It is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. 1 in 4 people will experience mental distress in their life time and your sponsorship will help to make a real difference. £6.90 provides a lifeline. It is the cost of answering one enquiry to the MindinfoLine from someone in need of support and information. £15 could help us to support a local Mind association befriending scheme. Trained workers make regular phone calls to isolated people who are at risk of developing depression and other mental health problems. £30 could help train a volunteer to become a Mind campaigner, helping us to promote awareness of mental health issues. £100 could enable us to support 1000 people by producing our information booklets such as ‘understanding depression’.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mind - The Mental Health Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
