What: A charity cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia
When: 21st February - 3rd March 2013
Why: Since I was young I've always wanted to do a challenge in an obscure part of the world, but I've always stumbled on choosing a charity. Until recently not one charity stood out. All of them are great and admirable, but none of them touched me personally.
Seeing my Nan pass away over a year ago to cancer associated with Lymphoma and a family friend fighting bravely to have her dream wedding with the help of Lymphoma Assoication made me realise this charity is the one.
After a slight push, Marie has decided to join me on the journey and I'm so glad she has. I love to drag her in on my adventures (I know she loves them really), but she realises what we're doing can help provide vital support for the charity.
So our challenge is to cycle 400km (250 miles) spread over 9 days (5 days cycling) in hot and humid conditions that will no doubt test our strength physically and mentally.
So if you donate here, which is totally safe and secure, JustGiving will send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
Thank you for all your support in advance and I hope I can do you and the charity proud.
