This adventure was conceived as my 50th birthday challenge, it needed to involve: Bikes, Mountains, Camping, Navigation. I'll be camping using the minimal kit you can see on the bike, and covering around 1000 miles.

Recently I was busy but witnessed that my Grandfather had the best of Care from all those around him, including the Hyde Valley Care home and Isabel Hospice staff so this ride is in memory of a great and proud man who not only protected  you in the 2nd World War, but had humble family upbringing in North London and had a smile when I got/pored him as pint, whether is was years ago in the pub or recently in the Care home.
