This year I’ve put my marathon shoes away, slipped into some
lycra & decided to take part in the Prudential Ride London 100 on the 4th August. This is a 100 mile (160km) bike ride, which follows a similar route to the 2012 Olympics cycling event. Starting in London, it moves out to the Surrey hills & then back to London.

I’ve again been fortunate to obtain a place in this event via Havens Hospices, who are this year in the process of building a new purpose
built facility for adults in Southend.

So many of my friends & family have been very generous
over the last few years & I’m sure you will continue to be in the future.
