Story

So, Brathay 10 in 10, what’s that? It’s a physical and mental challenge to run 10 Marathons in 10 days, one lap of Lake Windermere each and every day. A total of 262 Miles from May 10th - 19th!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love to run and I was saddened to learn of the death of one of this years London Marathon participants, Matt Campbell (#FinishForMatt #MilesForMatt #3.7). I hadn't realised at the time, but we'd both run Manchester earlier in the season and Matt was running the London Marathon to continue to raise funds in honour of his Father (Martin), for Brathay Trust.

'Running for Matt' was the inspiration to give something back to the sport I love whilst raising funds for Brathay Trust and for the children and young adults across the UK to benefit from their amazing work, helping them to make positive changes that will last a lifetime.

“At Brathay we know everyone has the capacity to do extraordinary things that can inspire and benefit others.”
