Story
Well to update you all, I completed the ride of 500 miles, 30,000 calories burned, total going uphill equivalent of going nearly all the way up Everest and I am so proud to have raised so much money for Cash For Kids. It was a very hard week but worth every pain suffered to be able to help others and as an event we have smashed the £30,000 target. So thank you all who have supported me through this with kind words and donations. For the story of the week and some pictures go to my blog by clicking here
From 23rd August 2009 until 28th August 2009 I will be cycling from The Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Blackpool Tower in the North West of the UK. I will be part of an event organised by Rock FM and raising money for Cash For Kids which helps vunerable children with support across the North West. Cash For Kids has been approached by The Childrens Society for a grant of £30,000 to be able to continue their work with the most 'at risk' children.
I will be training hard for this event, but this pain will be nothing in comparison to the pain and suffering many of these young children face daily. I do have a large target to hit with my fundraising so your support will be greatly appreciated.
