Last year I supported the Grapplethon event in aid of the Rape Crisis due to two girls being raped by their fellow team members in a martial art club. This was extreme and we as ladies do not want other women to feel they can't possbily start learning Brazilian Jiu-jitsu or any other martial for that matter for fear of being raped.  I can assure you this is not the norm. However we are fully aware there are people (male and female) being raped everyday and these people need support.
