Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A bit about me:
I have decided to set myself a challenge and to raise some money for charity whilst I'm at it! As those of you who know me will be aware, I've always been a keen runner, but I've never done a Marathon... Thus I have set myself the most difficult physical challenge I am yet to face in my life... to run 26.2 miles!!!! I think that deserves a pound a mile at least don't you! So please show me your support by digging deep, donating and getting behind me and Stonewall!
A bit about who I am running for and why I chose them:
Stonewall is a lesbian, gay and bisexual charity, renowned for its campaigning and lobbying. Some major successes include helping achieve the equalisation of the age of consent, lifting the ban on lesbians and gay men serving in the military, securing legislation allowing same-sex couples to adopt and the repeal of Section 28. More recently Stonewall has helped secure civil partnerships and ensured the recent Equality Act protected lesbians and gay men in terms of goods and services. for more info and to get involved please see http://www.stonewall.org.uk
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
