Fundraising for Hospice Africa

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also apparently the most efficient way to sponsor us if you are a UK taxpayer: Hospice Africa Limited will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. The Just Giving company does charge 5% but also sort out the txtra tax so overall apparently for every 10£ donated, £11.90 goes to Hospice.
If you are Irish -or rather, not a UK taxpayer- feel the 5% is too steep, and would like to donate to Hospice Africa Uganda you can make a cheque out to Friends of Hospice Uganda, who have an Irish euro account. Contact us for that account by email. I'll ask F.O.H.U if I can put it on the blog.
