We raise funds for vital medical research to ensure the health of women and babies

Story

Hello Peeps,

I have committed myself to the challenge of Cycling Cuba in November 08 the ride will cover 370kms in the heat, dust and humidity. Arghhhh!

But when I was first introduced to Professor Lord Robert Winstons charity I didn't have a doubt in my mind about being involved in helping to raise much needed funds for WomenforWomen which in turn provides better Health for Women and  Babies.

Even though I am not a cyclist,I am really looking forward to the training ahead, though these Yorkshire Hills do seem to be getting bigger,in the coming months the training plan will be a tough one, but I am really committed to successfully completing this challenge. And heres why...

Being a mother myself I know how joyous the time should be on having a child but this isn't the case for every new mother & her baby. I have witnessed what devastating illnesses can happen from something we consider so natural and at times take for granted, pregnancy can be a much more complicated journey than we think.

I am Cycling Cuba in loving remembrance of Sarah ( Lubinski) who died in 2006 aged 36yrs from a brain Tumour, she leaves a beautiful daughter Robyn.

With your support & donations we can make a real difference to prevent such illnesses occurring in the future.

Please donate as much as you can,Thank You for your kindness and generosity it truly means a lot.

Donating though this site is simple, fast and totally secure,it is the most efficient way to sponsor me, womenforwomen will receive the donations quickly and if you are a uk tax payer an extra 28p for every £1 you donate will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.

Best wishes for the New Year Paula X
