Hi, I’m Paula, 30 yrs old and I am going be part of an amazing group of women taking positive action in the fight against breast, ovarian and cervical cancers. The event will be taking part in February 2012 when 80 women will come together to cycle 400 km through Kenya.

I personally have been lucky that I have not been affected by any of these what can be fatal diseases but I am sure we all know of at least one person whose life has been affected by one of these cancers.

Many women and their families have had their lives turned upside down by these terrible diseases. This is why I am so passionate about giving a little bit back to help support these invaluable charities, none of us never know if we will need their support in the future.

The women affected will be sisters, daughters, grandmothers, aunties, mothers, wives or a close friend so please help me to show my support and yours to three fantastic charity organisations.

I am not a professional cyclist and I am an asthma sufferer so I will be challenging myself to complete this event, I have just started my training even though it is 18 months away but I want to be as fit as I possibly can be for what will be one of the biggest but fantastic experiences of my life!
