UPDATE 7 October 2013

I'm pleased to say I managed to complete the Bournemouth Half Marathon without the sweeper bus picking me up! Not sure yet of the actual time but I know it was less than 2.38. I'd like to thank my father in law for the offer of £10 per minute under 2.45, knowing he was going to be extra generous gave me the strength to push myself harder and it's always good to have an additional incentive, especially from Robbo, thanks!

Having said this is my last half marathon I think maybe just one more....?

I promise this is my last half marathon, I'm hitting the big '40' next year and although I've only been running a year I've decided to hang up my trainers and start hang gliding instead, it's far easier on the old knees.

So please help me to raise money for a fantastic cause and I promise not to ask again....well just until my sponsored hang glide!
