Story
I believe in the importance of wildlife conservation so much that I am participating in my first ever 13K (8 mile) race (and only my second race ever) in May of 2017 to help raise money for Durrell Wildlife Conservation, despite having surgery on Feb 27th. I may not finish first. I may finish last. But I will finish and #doitfordurrell.
After spending time at Durrell in May and seeing what amazing and fulfilling work they do, I have also gone back to school to complete a bachelor's degree in wildlife conservation in the hopes of getting to help save our wildlife. The pictures in my story were all taken by me at Durrell during my trip.
I hope you will consider donating even just $1 or $5 to help the award winning and species saving work of Durrell Wildlife Conservation. Every dollar donated helps to add to the dozens of species of animals Durrell is working tirelessly to save from extinction. Animals are priceless and once they are gone, our children and grandchildren will never know their beauty. So please, forgo that latte or cappuccino and donate to help save them. Your coffee will be there tomorrow... the animals may not.
