Myself and Michael Maura's Son are taking part in the Eastbourne Santa fun run & walk on December 4th 2011 along the lenghth of the seafront. Whilt this distance is only 3miles and there is the option to walk those of you who know me know i don't do running! We will also be wearing Santa Suits :-).

I am therefore hoping you will help myself and Michael raise the suggested amount of £50 each sponsorship money in return i will do my best to RUN the 3 miles. Believe me i would rather go in the ring kickboxing with one of my black belt instructors than run!!

Myasthenia Gravis is one of the conditions that Michaels Mum Maura had which unfortunatley contributed to her passing on November 13th 2010. Not enough is known about this condition which is otherwise known as the rag doll syndrome. The picture of Maura was taken on one of her good days, but as time went on it became increasingly difficult for her to hold her head up due to the Myasthenia Gravis.
