Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to my heart as I'm more than aware of the devastating effect it can have. In 2014 my Dad, Grandma and Uncle were all diagnosed with cancer, one after the other, only a month apart.
The strain on my family was unimaginable. How my Mum kept it together and looked after everyone is a testament to her incredible strength!
Thankfully my Dad and Uncle pulled through (with their fair share of scars) but devastatingly my Grandma passed away. I know she'll be watching me attempt to trek my way through Pretty Muddy! And, most importantly, as my whole family will be, she'll be supporting my support of Cancer Research. Whether it's an assault course, a marathon, I'm doing this - and we're doing this - to support the outstanding work of Cancer Research, and they need your donations.
It's time to beat cancer once and for all, and your donation will support world-class research, and fund scientists, doctors and nurses to beat cancer sooner!
