Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Early in 2012 I found a lump in my breast which was the start of a rollercoaster ride for me! I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and surgery was scheduled one week after diagnosis. I followed up with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and herceptin treatment plus daily dose of Tamoxifen.
I certainly found my inner strength during this difficult period of my life. Having two very young daughters, I was determined to push through the treatment and with the most amazing support from my loving family and friends,. I kept smiling and knew that by staying positive I would see this illness through . Friends Of Anchor were an integral part of supporting me through my treatments.
Last year I hit my 10 year milestone of being cancer free. I am 11 years clear in April 2023 and I am delighted to be strutting my stuff on stage alongside 23 other warriors at Courage on The Catwalk in May to raise vital funds for Friends of Anchor.
