Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro · 20 December 2014

The Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST), formerly CSDST, uses adaptive snowsports to enhance the recovery of the UK's wounded, injured and sick military personnel; both serving and veteran. It reintroduces the spirit of challenge and competition they were accustomed to in normal Service life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My sons and I, Chris (16) and Tom (13), are climbing mount Kilimanjaro in December to raise awareness of (and hopefully funds for) the Combined Services Disabled Ski Team which does fantastic work rehabilitating injured service personnel through (adaptive) skiing.  This charity chaired by my good friend (and Tom's Godfather) Brig Fred Hargreaves OBE really changes the lives of those who have given so much for their country, including being injured, wounded or sick as a result of their service. Please visit the CSDST website at www.csdst.co.uk to read about the fantastic achievements and aspirations of these brave athletes, and please support the work of this team to achieve even more, and have an even wider reach to those who would benefit from the fantastic support of this charitable organisation.

Thank you. Paula, Chris and Tom
