Fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many people know, Cystic Fibrosis is a terminal condition which primarily affects the lungs and digestive system, leaving them clogged with mucus and unable to work properly. People with CF often have a range of treatments and tablets to prolong their life-expectancy, which stands at around 30 years old.
Despite this illness being the UK's 2nd biggest inherated disease, there is no cure for CF. The only 'solution' is a double lung transplant; I had a transplant at 15 years old (3 years ago) and I know many people who are currently waiting for their new lungs.
To mark this milestone I am doing a 10k walk in Ashridge Forset, Herts., something which would not have been possible before my transplant. I want to give others a chance to live such a healthy life too!
Please donate now and help me raise funds for all-important research to help other CF sufferers like myself to find a cure.
Thank you for your donations and support!
