After cancer had touched our family and friends' families,  I wanted to try to make a small difference by fundraising for a cancer charity.  I chose Cancer Research after seeing recent news articles about the valuable steps that the scientists are making towards finding cures.  I hope that they can one day make cancer history.

So how should I fundraise?  As I enjoy running, this seemed the best way to do it.  But to ask for your hard earned cash for running a 10k, didn't seem like enough effort from my side.  Even a race a month was rejected in favour of the more appropriate challenge of 15 races in 2015.

It's now November and with 13 races under my belt I'm nearly there!   I'll keep you updated with links to the races I've completed (so you can check that I'm not cheating).
