Dear All,

Am VERY pleased to have made it to the end today.....and to have justified all your support and good wishes for the run. My total together with the Gift Aid and a few other promises has broken the £ 1,000 mark......you are all amazing, thank you!

It was a really tough run today, with the sun beating down....where the bl**dy hell did that come from? Anyway, managed to keep pretty focused and lapped up all the "Come on Mr G" shouts en route.....even got a mention from the main tannoy at the end......oddly enough I actually found a short sprint finish...what a tart!!!!! the support was really excellent.

Due to sun interference my time was a little slower than I'd aimed for (2hrs 6mins)....but that was immediatley put right with some chocolate and a couple of pints (neither of which touched the sides on the way down...odd that)!

Your money will go a long way to helping those that need it, so well done to you all. Please excuse me a special shout to my Dad, who today who was not well enough to to travel to Bath....I was thinking of you all the way Dad. This run remains dedicated to my familys finest, Ron and Bev; and for Syd, Jeannie and Papa T.
