Story
My brother-in-law was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the start of April 2023. He was told there was no therapy and no cure. He passed away 9 weeks later.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable! I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
Why 274 miles?
We’ve set the challenge as 274 miles because £274 represents 10% of the cost of a day of research at one of our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence.
